It was Luis Aragonés who gave him his chance at Salamanca's Helmántico stadium. He started the game on the bench and came on for Carles Puyol. Sergio Ramos has seen it all and won two European Championships and a World Cup since that 26th March 2005.
The Spain centre-back is especially proud to mark such a milestone in his hometown of Seville. "I'm thrilled to have played for my country for ten years. I just want to enjoy the day. I still remember my debut. I've also been privileged enough to win titles with this squad. I'm very proud".
