Contract of Employment – Mr. Garfield Angove
We are pleased to offer you a full time employment with the company under the following terms and conditions.
Location
Bliss Beach Club, 202/88 Moo 2, Cherng Talay, Thalang, Phuket 83150.
Title/Job Function
Executive Chef, reporting to General Manager of Bliss Beach Club Co., Ltd.
Basic Salary
Your gross salary will be Baht 120,000 per month with the benefit on the subject to conditions as follow:
1) Monthly food cost match or below 32% without compromising on quality and on restaurant experience: pay current salary plus bonus Baht 10,000.
This salary will be paid on the last working day of each calendar month. Salaries are reviewed on an annual basis at the discretion of the Directors.
Monthly Service Charge to be paid on the 15th of each calendar month.
Probation period
The employee has 3 months probation period.
Social Security
According to labor law under government health care, 50% paid by the company, 50% paid by yourself. At this time this compulsory insurance is, in total, 5% of your gross income with a maximum of Baht 1,500/month.
Taxation, Tax Preparation and Permits
The Employer is legally obliged to withhold tax and remit this to the Revenue Department from the salary, wages and other benefits (if any) received by the Employee under this agreement. The Employer shall be responsible for any visa expenses and shall arrange for a valid working permit during the period of employment. The Employee shall be responsible to timely notify the Employer of expiring visa and work permit dates.
Other Benefits
The Employer will provide you with meals during working hours, and social security fund.
Premium insurance coverage with “AIA The Real Life Company”
The Employee is entitled to Baht 10,000 OC and Baht 5,000 ENT.
Kitchen Laptop and mobile phone (optional).
Flight ticket to US based on improved food revenues against budget to be negotiated after 3 months probation period.
Working days and Vacation
The Employee expected to work 6 days per week, and is entitled to 15 paid working days vacation based on a full calendar year’s employment, provided that the Employee will take his holiday after having obtained the prior agreement of the Employer after a 6 months period of full time emplyment.
Personal leave in exceptional circumstances
This will be considered on a case by case basis and as per company policy.
Sickness leave
Any sick leave taken beyond 1 day in succession must be certified by doctor certificate.
If the Employee is absent from his/her employment as a result of physical ill health or injury he/she shall be entitled to be paid salary and other benefits for an aggregate maximum as determined by statutory law, less any statutory sick pay entitlement.
If the Employee fails to inform the appropriate member of the Company of their absence from work for reasons of sickness or injury as soon as practical, the absence may be treated as unauthorized and remuneration for the period, including statutory sick pay, may be withheld.
Other Conditions
You will perform such duties and accept such responsibilities as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Company to the utmost of your ability, to promote and advance the interest of the Company.
You will obey and comply with all rules, regulations, procedural practices and arrangements of the Company in accordance with the company’s policies.
You will not at any time during the continuance of your employment be engaged directly of indirectly in any other business or occupation or engage in any activities to the detriment of the Company’s interest.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions and your employment by the company shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
