Two more power poles down in Bang Kapi
A construction crane in Bang Kapi district toppled two power poles, sending them crashing into a car care and restaurant named Monkey Care, demolishing much of the structure and damaging three cars. No injuries were reported.

Car knocks down power poles, blocks traffic on Asok-Din Daeng
A BMW sedan ran up on the footpath and knocked down three power poles on Asok-Din Daeng Road in Bangkok in the early hours of Friday, leading to the road being closed and causing major traffic congestion in the area for several hours.
The accident occurred around 3.30am, Post Today reported.
The driver of the black sedan, who has not been named, escaped unhurt in the crash. The BMW was not severely damaged.
Police closed the Asok-Din Daeng Road to traffic from Asok-Phetchaburi intersection to Makkasan railway station around 6.18am while repair crews removed the three toppled power poles from the road.

Pol Maj Narongchai Kulbuala, traffic police chief at Makkasan, speaking via Jor Sor 100 radio station, advised motorists coming from inbound Asok-Din Daeng Road (Rama IX Road to the railway) to turn left or right to Kamphaeng Phet 7 Road while traffic lanes on the Phetchaburi-railway route were closed. Motorists were told to turn left or right to Phetchaburi Road.
Traffic police were hard pressed to handle the congestion until the road was re-opened at 7.26 am.
