Formula One sparks a stylish collaboration for the latest Mercedes-Benz A/W 2015 fashion campaign, Champions of Fashion.
Starring teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, this season’s key visual brings racing to the runway with one of fashion’s hottest models, Dree Hemingway – great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway – at the helm.
To shoot the campaign, the trio travelled to the famous Mercedes-Benz wind tunnel in Sindelfingen, setting the scene for a dramatic showdown between the drivers. Rosberg steers the brawny, muscular Mercedes-AMG GT while Hamilton takes the classic Mercedes-Benz C111, an experimental gullwing model developed in the 1970s.
Directed and shot by the acclaimed American artist and photographer, Collier Schorr, the Champions of Fashion campaign was produced to celebrate Mercedes-Benz’s longstanding sponsorship of the world’s finest fashion events – now totalling over 50 engagements in more than 30 countries.
Schorr has also directed a fashion film to accompany the Champions of Fashion key visual.
