In recent years, the use of information technology has dramatically increased in the empowerment of employees, particularly in academia. The information, particularly information that seems to have a central role in the organization or strategy is considered one of the fundamental pillars. Of ICT can empower their employees and to promote the knowledge, awareness, autonomy of use. In order investigate the effects of using ICT on the causes of Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch, paper is done. For this purpose, indicators of empowerment include the knowledge, awareness, autonomy of workers were identified. Using the t-test was used to analyze the data. Given the significant findings of the study hypothesis, shows there was a significant positive correlation between ICT and knowledge variables, knowledge, independence and freedom.
