monitor seafood products, labor practices, quality and sustainability standards across our global supply chain. Throughout this process, we have been working with our technology partner, Frequentz, to realize this vision of complete product traceability and to minimize areas of potential risk to our customers.
We are excited to announce that we are now ready to implement the next phase of this industry-leading initiative to provide true end-to-end transparency into our supply chain. We are formally requesting that you participate with us in this program to transform the way we manage our supply-chain. Frequentz will be working with you to help us realize this vision through their best-in-class traceability platform.
Great American Seafood is requesting all suppliers to join this platform. As a preferred vendor, we have negotiated special pricing for you as part of our first implementation phase. A representative from Frequentz will contact you to provide more detail into the implementation process within the next several weeks, as this project will be launching imminently.
Traceability gives us a tool that supports our business globally by ensuring that we deliver products that align with our customers' values. By providing transparency and insights into our supply chain, including insights that support our mission to source only authentic, sustainable, high-quality seafood, we are demonstrating to our customers that we care about their values and ensuring the authenticity of their purchase. We also request that all of your suppliers and or vessel participate as well. We have structured this program to make the transition as non-intrusive as possible to your current business practices.
