The regarding the hydraulic motor we can provide the following information which will hopefully answer all your questions
• The speed of the drive motor will be electronically controlled via a Parker D41FB proportional valve (Item 15 on the schematic). Attached are the wiring details for all electrical components.
• It is recommended that before starting the unit for the first time both the hydraulic pump and drive motor are filled with oil through the case drain.
• Item 16 is a loose supplied counterbalance valve that needs to be fitted close to the drive motor. This will stop a majority of the oil in the motor draining away. Providing the drive motor is not left for long periods between operations then re-filling the case drain is not necessary.
• The hydraulic pump is capable of delivering upto 148 L/min at 150 Bar. However the pump is load sensing so will match the output flow to that required by the system. The pump does not need to be left running all the time. If left for short periods of time (upto 1 hour) then the unloading valve (item 10) can be de-energised which will dis-engage the pump and use very little power. If the unit is to be left for long periods then it should be switched off. Please note that the unloading valve should not be energised for 15-20 seconds after the electric motor is started.
• Total tank capacity should be between approx. 4 times the maximum system flow. As such we would consider this tank to be the correct size.
• There is no outline drawing available however we will confirm in the next few days overall dimensions for the unit.
Also attached are details for the VSO drive.
As advised previously the support bracket have been changed as per drawing sent. The wholes are smaller, i.e. dia 26 mm. Suitable bolts would be M24. We recommend anchor bolts of quality 8.8 of CS which is quite common in Europe. As an alternative SS bolts of quality A4 is recommended. Please confirm as soon as possible that the new bracket design is acceptable.
Regarding the delivery we are still aiming to have the vessels ready for despatch 17 Jan as previously advised and confirmed to you. We are waiting for the delivery of one component to be confirmed to us tomorrow. I will then be able to update the schedule and sent to you on Friday latest.
I think this should answer all your question. Please let me know if there is anything I have missed.
