Alexander McQueen exhibited their 2013-2014 Pre Fall Winter Womens Runway Collection. Once again, the haute couture fashion house turned heads during fashion week. There were four main inspirations for this show: pilgrim journeys, Baroque traditions, vampire diaries and religious affirmations. The pilgrimage travels shown were luxurious dresses in lace or intricate prints with capelets, thick belts and ruffled cuffs. On the other hand, the Baroque era, continued on as they were applied in long and short dresses with detailed lace embroideries and above the knee high leather boots with traditional big buckles. The vampire influence came in with a dark combination of blacks and deep reds with capelets and trains. A spiritual salvation heightened up with the Virgin Mary wardrobe version in a magnificent cloak dress complemented in an ethereal white gown.
