You: He's....No longer with us.
Yoshino: Why's that?
You: He left me and my mom when I was ten. I didn't know why, but as I grew older, he either got tired of us or decided to live with someone else.
Yoshino: Oh, I'm sorry for bringing this up.
You: It's okay Yoshino!! Really!! I know you didn't mean it that way. I mean, sure it hurt a lot, but me and mom got over it eventually.
Yoshino: Where is he now?
You: Don't know. It's been years since we last saw him. And I don't think he wants to be found anyways.
Yoshino: Fair point.
You: "You look at her and she looks at you" I promise, no matter how long it takes, we will find Yoshinon.
Yoshino: I know, but why say this now?
You: Because I don't want you to feel pain similar to the one my mom and I felt when my dad left.
When Yoshino heard what you just said, she was really amazed at how kind and determined you are to make sure she's happy again and to be reunited with her best friend. You and Yoshino kept looking at each other for a few more seconds until you got really embarrassed and looked elsewhere while blushing so much.
You: W-We should probably head back home now. We'll continue our search tomorrow.
Yoshino: Sounds like a good idea to me.
After this, you and Yoshino stood up and head back home as the sun slowly went down for nighttime to come over Tengu City. When you finally came back home, the first thing you did was go upstairs, change into your home attire, and continue working on your story for the writing contest.
You: "You cross out a square on your calendar and put away your pen" My story is gonna be he bomb. I'm sure of it. "You go back to writing your story"
You(In head): And once that's done, I'll let Yoshino be the first to read it.
