Cu was not detected in grape jam but was present in very
low amounts (0.01–0.02 mg/100 g) in other fruit jams analyzed.
In comparison, Acar (2011) reported higher Cu content
in apricot jam (0.08 mg/100 g). It was also reported by FSANZ
(2010) that grape, strawberry and blueberry have low Cu content
(0.065–0.24 mg/100 g). Grape, apricot, strawberry and
blueberry are not a rich source of Cu and it is reflected in
the Cu content of jams analyzed in this study.
