The inhibitory effect of Xenorhabdus spp. culture on some fungal
and oomycete pathogens has been determined9,22,24–29. However,
there are no studies on the potential inhibitory effect of X. nematophila
culture systematically from in vitro to in planta. This study
determined the inhibitory effect of X. nematophila TB culture toward
a wide range of plant pathogenic fungal and oomycete pathogens in
vitro, with special focus on the inhibitory effect of X. nematophila TB
culture on B. cinerea causing grey mold in tomato plants and P.
capsici causing leaf scorch in pepper plants.
