Day 3 Ayutthaya – Bang Pa In (B,L)
After breakfast this morning, visit the famous temples of Wat Srisanpetch, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol and another of Ayutthaya’s most beautiful, at Wat Chai Watthanaram. Next stop is Bang Pa-In, the summer residence of former kings of Ayutthaya, built in the 18th century. The Royal Palace with beautiful extensive park grounds is an exotic combination of Thai and European architecture. The Thai pavilion built in the middle of a lake will catch your eye as well as the Chinese-style palace Vihat Chamrun and the bushes trimmed and shaped into elephants.
It will then be time to board a luxury cruise for lunch and a leisurely cruise down the fabled Chao Phraya River to Bangkok. Your arrival into Bangkok will be around 5pm where your transfer to your hotel in Bangkok awaits.
