Research on diversity of macroalgae in Gunungkidul have been performed, however, more specific study in Porok
was yet explored16,17. Enteromorpha, Ulva, Chaetomorpha act as epiphyte18,19 on intertidal area which are able to
absorb nutrient from other organism, therefore those species are dominant in Gunungkidul coastal area which is
located in the south of Java Island. Located in Indian Ocean, the coast has strong wave, thus, macroalgae in this area
