Results
There were slight variations in proximate composition
of different experimental diets (Table 3). The protein content
varied between 40.38 and 41.19%. The variations in lipid
and ash contents among different experimental diets were
also minimal. The lipid content of various diets ranged
between 10.12 and 10.87%, the ash content ranged between
13.15 and 14.56%, crude fibre ranged between 4.18 and
4.46% and gross energy content varied between 18.45 and
18.80 KJ g-1
