Describe Thai law in middle age?
The Middle age of Thai history is Ayuthaya Period. After end up of Sukhothai period The Regime was change from Father protects son system to absolute monarchy system by received Khmer’s influence and Khmer got this system from India. The King at these monarchy system had extremely dictatorship. When the king’s command declaring,people can not to adjudge or argue because king as god not father as it was as Sukhothai period. King is owner everything in the kingdom even land or citizen’s life. There have many Royal prerogative but under Buddhist principles
Thai law in the Ayuthaya Period made from principle of India law called Thammasat Scriptures. This is scriptures of Justice and highest law equivalent a constitution at the present. These principle is enforced by all citizen and king.Feature of law at the period was precisely and had change later.
