Diversity was observed among different grape cultivars in respect to fungal contamination and the inhibitory effect of B.
subtilis on A. carbonarius. Among the tested grape cultivars, Thompson Seedless was the most sensitive to A. carbonarius, and B.subtilis had the least effect on rot extension in this cultivar, illustrating that the inhibition effect of B. subtilis on A. carbonarius would be decreased if A. carbonarius grows too rapidly.
