Among Chiang's younger brothers, Bieo put one of his sons in the army, and Lek put both of his sons. Chiang's eldest son Sak also entered the army and rose to the rank of general. All four of Sak's sons entered the armed services. One was killed fighting in Laos and another left the air force to become a pilot in Thai Airways while the remaining two, Uthai and Chaisit, rose to the rank of general.
