TASK 1. PROCEDURE (DO NOT PRINT)
Review the scenarios for several case study organizations provided in Appendix 1 of this assessment task.
Note the ‘innovation challenge’ at the end of each scenario.
Work with other classmates to build a team of 3–4 people.
Choose one scenario together.
Write the following documents:
17. a document describing team goals. For each team goal, explain why the team chose the goal
18. a draft/plan budget for team activities (ensure budget for team activities is kept under $5000 as per scenario and includes the cost of each team activity. Hourly rate is $50 per team member)
19. a document describing which potential/possible team members to include – minimum 2 people (from the list on the pp. 10-11 of the task)
20. a document describing strengths and weakness of current team members (real and chosen from the list on the pp. 10-11. Real names (First name and last name) of the students and not the nicknames should be written. Identify the possible ways individual team members could contribute to the overall innovative nature of the team, the different roles that potential team members might play within the team and how their roles might impact the effectiveness of the team, how potential team members might impact on group dynamics, how the individual skills of potential team members will complement the existing skill set within the team.)
21. a document describing team ground rules (basic rules). These may include:
-boundaries or lack of boundaries for team activities and ideas,
-confidentiality,
-copyright, moral rights or intellectual property,
-regularity of communication,
-key roles and responsibilities,
-timelines,
-ways of communicating with each other.
● Responsibilities of each team member. Write the responsibilities of each team member, explaining how and why the group decided this responsibility. Explain how you participated in this discussion and encouraged innovation (INDIVIDUAL PART)
● a document describing innovation schedule (including at least one communication activity, at least three meetings or activities, including time, place, participants, description of activity and goals). Plan time for private reflective/thoughtful thinking, planning and innovation
22. a document describing rewards (personal rewards that do not use cash)
23. a feedback document for every team member from each team member –Appendix 3 –p.12 of the Task.
24. Print only first page of the Task1, your answer and feedback document for every team member from each team member.
Your answer should have the same structure as below with all the headings.
