In the 6th reign, Phaya Lithai (Phra Maha Thammaracha I)
felt the threats from Sukhothai’s own vassal kingdoms,
which appeared to be stronger and non-loyal to
Sukhothai, Phaya Lithai believed that using a paternal
kingship might not be sufficient. He needed to make
himself an idol leader by strictly follow Buddhism and
composed “Traibhum Prarung” – Three Worlds of
Praruang (Praruang Dynasty – see Slide # 5)
