To million of people in scattering villages in Esarn, summer means a time of drought. Food become scare; some water wells are miles away and the searing sun burns mercilessly on.
In search of food, some women and children go to the fields to hunt for frogs and crabs. They dig the cracked earth and catch the tiny animals hiding in the fissures. In a day, they may collect a handful of tiny frogs to feed themselves.
