The strong room specification. It is not clear from the engineer’s comment that there is a steel plate on all 5 sides of the strong room. It may be that this what is meant, but is not what it actually says. If the reinforcement of the concrete block walls and concrete ceiling comprises steel plate on all 5 sides i.e. all except the floor) this would be fine. It may be that only the 4 walls have the plate in which the Insured should also clarify the structure of the strong room roof. It may contain a grid of reinforcement bars and be of sufficient strength to be adequate for the risk. However, it would help if this can be clarified, as such detail could not be determined by a purely visual inspection.
