After we got the topics from the analysis, the kit objective analysis was applied. In the table 1 found that the VSD installed motor when operates without passive filter, student has to know how to get data of harmonic voltage and current from input voltage and current waveforms. This point, we should design the experiment by setting the laboratory kit that can vary load of the VSD installed motor. When student varying load in several values, they can suggest behavior of harmonic voltage and current at input port relating to value of variation of load for understanding behavior of harmonic contents. In addition, under this operations, student should know comparison of measured harmonic contents and IEEE 519-1992 requirement for understanding how to locate existed harmonic problem situation. Next, when the VSD installed motor when operates with passive filter, students should know how to calculate value of inductors and capacitor using in the filter at full load condition and to connect the filter at the input port of VSD for getting circuit connecting in practical skill. After students can connect the filter to VSD circuit, they should understand what will be happened on harmonic contents if loads of motor are changed when using designed filter. Moreover, when motor load is fixed at full load condition, what will be happened on harmonic contents if designed inductor and capacitor values are changed. Finally, under this operations, student should know comparison of measured harmonic contents and IEEE 519-1992 requirement for understanding how to locate existed harmonic problem situation.
