**Overly sentimental post alert**
Anyone who knows me knows I'm obsessed with romantic comedies. I like the idea of people fighting to be together. For the past year and a half I've played Lun Tha in THE KING AND I at Lincoln Center and my ENTIRE show has centered around the woman in this picture. I only interact with her for the whole show. And we have fought for LOVE 8 shows a week. What I didn't expect is that over the course of the run that she's become one of my best friends - pregnancy pranks, beach trips, red carpets, tears and laughter and wine and LOVE. Our bond as friends has deepened our connection onstage and has taught me so much about listening and being tuned in to another actor. I'm amazed at her talent, generosity and overall light that she shines on the world. Not seeing her everyday will make my world a little less bright but I feel so fortunate to have made a lifelong friend. And thank you to everyone who has come out to witness the story we've told at THE KING AND I. Today we get to fight for LOVE one last time. But I'll forever be grateful for the lessons and memories this experience has given me. ❤️ you shmoops.
