2.2.1. General experimental procedure
A general experimental procedure is schematized in Fig. 1. Fruit
juices of blueberry and pineapple were frozen separately, and then the
samples were transferred to a centrifuge to force the separation of
solutes from the frozen solutions. The concentrated fraction at the first
cryoconcentration cycle was used as feed solution for the second
cryoconcentration cycle (i.e. the concentratewas frozen and transferred
to a centrifuge) and finally the second concentrated fraction was used
for the third cryoconcentration cycle.
