is selected as the solution to the problem identified in Phase I. High handling time
is mainly caused by the unsymmetrical shape of the parts that lead to the mixing up problem among the parts itself.
Therefore, the solution generated must be able to overcome the mixing up problem. Hence, a supporting jig is
suggested as the solution in order to place the parts neatly
on the jig after inspection tasks. The supporting jig is
designed based on the dimension of the part A.
