I’m happy with the result.
I think the graft looks pretty similar to his other ear and we didn’t have any problems.
No bleeding.
No pneumothorax.
So I’m, I’m pleased.
The ear doesn’t usually bother the child, the, the patients.
Usually the chest is sore because I have to divide a muscle and you know, rummage around the rib.
So, we need to keep him here in the hospital to just make sure that everything’s healing nicely, he doesn’t get a complication like an infection or a hematoma and as soon as he’s tolerating pain with, with Tylenol and Codeine, he can go home.
