Thanks miss Kuda! Your subbing is just great.
I liked this episode a lot, for several reasons. First, I like how the production team displays the Per-Win-Mark characters. As for Win, he is a very vulnerable person right now, and the actor nails that very very well. The actor playing Per, does his part very well too. Per is not only showing himself as a bad friend, but as a bad person too. He is beeing rude and mean to Win, and although he is just 17, that is no excuse for hurting a friend who has a lot of trouble going on in in his life right now. It’s not just the way he talks, but you can see the expression of disgust on his face clearly (thumbs up for the actor!). He can turn from nice to mean in a splitsecond, and that type of “friend” is not what a vulnerable person like Win needs at all. He did nothing wrong, so why should he be punished that badly? Per could just have confronted him and talked to him. No need to be rude. Those types of personalities are “out there” and I like that the team included them in the series. As for Mark, he seems sweet and genuine and more “suitable” for Win. I just hope Win and Per will never become close friends again.
I think the Phun-Noh story went very well too this episode. They slowly get closer and closer, and for me that works fine. I like how Phun showed himself as a decent person by telling Aim that she was not the only person cheating. Not much to say about Phun-Noh actually ;-)
I like that this episode did not include Earn, as I find him more and more annoying lately (hope I don’t offend too many, it’s really just my own pow). Someone mentioned in another thread that he has balls of steel, but I don’t see that at all. I liked him in the beginning but I think he shows himself pretty much as a wimp lately. I mean, if he had balls, he would have made his moves a long time ago. He had several opportunities. He even overheard the conversation between Phun and Noh and he knows very well that Noh is for Phun. So why continue torturing himself? And every time he just acts like a selfish, spoiled kid, sitting all by himself feeling sorry. You are a guy! Now it’s time to man up! His self pity is annoying. Its not like they have been dating already and broke up because Noh chose someone else. He even has the most wonderful friend (Pete) who does a great job in beeing there for him, and he doesn’t even notice it. I wonder if in the opposite situation where Pete was heartbroken, if Earn would put just as much effort in beeing there for his friend. I truly doubt that. I find it annoying that even after his talk with Noh, he still tries to get his attention from him like a little school girl (sorry folks…) Especially the situation with his new hair… He is the male version of Yuri. I so much hope he will just move on soon and man up. The actor (Ngern???) plays the charater so well.
I wish you all a wonderful day!
