Follow-up points:
1) For the removal of oral medication in the first aid kits, we would like to propose the attached content of first aid kits for QBAN. As our type of industry does not fall under Indian Factories Act, we are not subjected to the requirements there and the reference here is similar to those that we have in Singapore. Suggest that we provide Box C type in all common areas such as pantries, Reception, etc. Kindly review this with Arun and HR and let us know your thoughts. Once this is agreeable, I will be able to help draft the notification email accordingly.
2) On fire extinguisher observation #16, I have also checked with the consultant and was advised that the fire extinguishers is advised to be placed outside the Electrical Rooms rather than inside so that it facilitates safer way of accessing the units in times of emergency. There is no mandatory requirement for this but it is a best practice to have it easily available before the ERT member enters the Electrical Room should there be a fire.
Please let us know once you have moved the files into Sharepoint and we will follow-up accordingly. Also, kindly advise the outcome of the first aid box content discussion with HR and let us know if you’d need us to participate in the discussion.
Thanks, Kousik. Appreciate your follow-up on these actions. Copying Arjun and Hufriz for their information and follow-up too.
