Analysis of Financial data
1. Compile weekly, half monthly and monthly reports related to the performance of the hotels. This includes, but not limited to,
a) Month end hotel performance of key statistics.
b) Month end GOP comparison report.
c) Monthly key segment analysis.
d) Profit margin comparisons.
2. Compile ad hoc reports on specific areas of performance when requested.
3. Works to analyse and recommend areas to improve productivity and revenue generation.
4. Prepares auxiliary reports as requested by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
Operational Performance
1. Advises COO and operational leadership on areas of under performance and“Red Flag” hotels.
2. Document recommendations for hotel performance.
3. Monitors business performance on a daily basis and highlights under performing hotels.
Reviews
1. In conjunction with operations, HR and finance conduct in depth reviews of hotels.
2. Produce reports that outline key areas for improvement, dates of follow up, Etc.
3. Co-ordinate Monthly hotel reviews and provide required analysis and data.
4. Conducts research,investigate workflows business procedures and recommends changes.
5. Works to ensure hotels are following brand standards and procedures.
1. Bachelor degree in Business Admin., Marketing, Hotel Management, Financeor relevant field, Master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 0-2 years in operations or finance. Exposure to hospitalitybusiness will be highly regarded.
3. Computer literate and ability to use other office equipment.
4. Can develop, generate and review statistics, graphs and numeric data.
5. Have good English communication skilled both written and spoken.
6. Well-organised, detail-oriented and possesses pleasant personality withexcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. As this position is exposed to large amounts of sensitive finance andperformance data, it is essential to have high degree of integrity andconfidentiality.
