the office staff uses the other components to help them accomplish their function. some of the primary functions of an office supplies. in order to communicate effectively with fellow employees,customers,and suppliers,the office personal should know the lines of authority within the organization, the person or persons responsible for each department. they must also have a clear understanding of their companies products and services as they will be interesting with both customers and suppliers. they should be trained in the art of using effective communication and how to handle difficult costumers . they must also be proficient in writing correspondence of all types and be trained in the use of all office equipment,which we will look at more closely later in this unit.the following diagram will give a visual picture as to how the office function supports the other areas of the business including the work flow.
