Scientists have proved that everybody dreams. Many people don’t remember their dreams, but everybody has at least three every night.
Many things can influence your dream. For example, if your bedroom is very hot, you will probably dream about being in the desert. If you are worried, you will dream that something is chasing you. You want to run as fast as the wind, but your feet are too heavy to move. You want to shout for help, but you can’t make a sound.
When you feel good, you will usually have very nice dream. If you want something very much, your dreams can give it to you. For example, someone who is in love will often dream about getting married.
There are some dreams that almost everybody has. A lot of people dream they can fly. Many people dream about walking down the street without all their clothes on .Almost everybody dreams about falling.
One very common dream is the “Examination dream.” Many people have versions of this dream. In one version, a student is taking an important test. However, he has never been to the class, he’s never seen the teacher, and he doesn’t understand any of the questions. In another version, a student is going to take a test, but she can’t find the correct room. Or maybe she gets the room, but it’s the wrong time and nobody is there. Dream like this usually mean that you want to be successful, but you are afraid you will fail.
What do your dreams mean?
Some people think dreams can predict the future. They say things like, “If you dream about a dog, you will be lucky. If you dream about a cat, you will be unlucky. If you dream about strawberries, you are going to take a vacation. If you dream about pineapples, you’ll be successful in business.
Do you remember your dream? If you don’t, try this. Keep a pencil and paper next to your bed. When you wake up, think about your dream and write it down right away. (You’ll forget it if you wait). Keep a “dream notebook.” Maybe you can figure out the meaning of your dreams.
