given in order to verify the effectiveness of this compensation
scheme under network induced time delay. An inverter
pendulum networked control system is utilized in the
simulation.
Simulation results under step response using full-state
feedback are shown in Fig.1-Fig.3, in which sample period is
50ms. In Fig.1 and Fig. 2 the step responses of system with
different time delay sc τ are given. Solid line denotes responses
of system without network and compensation, dot and dash
respectively denote responses of networked control system
with compensation and without compensation. From the
simulation results, it can be seen that when time delay is 10ms
and 30ms, the responses of the NCS, as shown in Fig. 1, and
Fig. 2, are very similar to the responses of control system
without network, which verified the effectiveness of
compensation based on observer. In Fig. 3 simulation results
of system with random time delay between 10ms to 30ms are
given, in which a good performance is demonstrated.
