As you are well informed Agridient has been facing continuous delay and unclarity about shipment of tapioca starch in paper bags. Although we have understanding for your internal problems with the packing machine we have contractual obligation towards end users. We are now facing a huge problem in USA to serve our customer base in time with what has been contracted to avoid legal proceedings. Our end users are critical regarding product quality and correct quality documentation so we will not replace Chok Chai product with other product. We have been forced to take Chok Chai product in big bags and fill into paper bags at a food grade repacking facility. The costs involved for transport, handling, packing and delivery are very high. We have been packing 500 MT at a cost of US$ 160/mt, actual invoices to support the claim are available.
Agridient will have to keep Chok Chai responsible for the costs involved.
