The
fruit treated with the combined treatment did not show any visible
decay until day 6 after storage. By the end of storage (12 days), the control fruit showed 100% disease incidence, followed by the UV-C
treated samples (83.3%) and the hot water-treated samples
(66.67%), whereas the combined treatment showed only 33.3%
incidence. Similarly, disease severity at the end of storagewas lowest
in the combined treatment fruit (0.66 score), followed by those
receiving hot water treatment (1.91 score), those receiving UV-C
treatment (2.50 score) and the negative control (4.16 score) (Fig.1B).
