Great hotel. However, the dark wood finish in the rooms and hallways are looking tarnished and presents an overall dark look feel to the room whish is a shame as the rooms are extremely spacious and the bathroom with the bathtub is the largest I've ever encountered. Bath does take some time to fill though. Nice touch is the Aigner soap. Room could have another (maybe foldable) suitcase stand as there is only one built in near entranceway and usually there is a need for a second one when there is more than 1 person to a room. It is billed as a art/design hotel but not alot of evidence of art/design work. The gym is huge and has lots of well maintained equipment. Also has spa and massage centre. The dinner buffet was amazing - all manner of fresh seafood cooked on selection, recommend for a splurge. The twin room booked for the children/young adults had problems with aircon being set very cool and they couldn't adjust it, informed reception but did not change during our 2 night stay. Note their room was not sited next to ours (wasn't an issue for us but if this is important to you then make sure this is specified/requested). Walkable distance to Jim Thompson House and the large/major shopping centres.
Pool area is adequate for a quiet time in the sun, attendant gave free lemon tasty ice block. Located opposite a BTS station.
