Of the 4 children who had experienced febrile convulsion in the case group, 3 (75%) had experienced the simple type of febrile convulsion while 1 (25%) had experienced the
complex type. In the control group,11 (78.6%) children had had the simple febrile convulsion, while 3 (21.4%) had had the complex type (P = 0.99, Fisher's exact test).
