A large artwork on a rice paddy using seven kinds of rice plants of varying colors, including green and black, in Gyoda, Saitama Prefecture, has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest rice field mosaic.
In the paddy, which is 165 meters wide and 180 meters long at its longest edge, the plants were planted in such a way as to create a picture of a boy in a spacesuit and a girl in ancient clothing, titled "Mirai e tsunagu inishie no kiseki" (Trajectory from ancient times to the future).
