Advancements in communication and technology have led to development of Digital Media platforms that allow for efficient and effective ways to connect with customers and business partners. The ISM and Marketing teams have jointly worked on the new Corporate Website and an enhanced Facebook (FB) strategy to capitalize on these.
In line with this endeavor, we are happy to announce the relaunch of the two (2) mentioned platforms on October13, 2016. Details of the relaunch are as follows:
WEBSITE:
The website is now made more consumer and trade directed with www.sanmiguelbrewerv.com as the new web URL address. Initial details of the enhancements are as follows:
1. Now with more comprehensive information on our company's history as well us details of our international operations
2. With complete and updated list of our SMBIL products including our latest SKU listings, awards and past and current campaigns materials (which can be downloaded and used as wall paper). A new section is likewise added to feature SMBlL's growing draught beer portfolio.
3. Now with features on the latest exciting projects from both business unit and division levels
4. Also include updates on corporate social responsibility projects which we continue to do to give back in the community.
5. With latest contact details including a new email address connect@sanmiguel.com.ph to specifically cater to inquiries from consumers and partners from around the world.
All of these are aligned with the new company Mission and Vision, Brewing Friendships, Celebrating life!
Required actions from Business Units:
1. With the view of enhancing employee knowledge and familiarity on San Miguel, require employees to Visit and check the new website
2. Encourage employees to share the website with family and friends who might need information on our products and business
3. Identify all materials bearing the old website URL (e.g. calling cards, email signatures, IDs, packaging designs, POSMs, etc) and begin the process of depleting these so the new URL can be phased in. For
anything that will entail incremental costs, please consult first with division office before implementing.
Business units are encouraged to refer to the new website URL as soon as possible. An automatic redirection to the new website is in place in case the old website URL is keyed-in (www.sanmiguelbeerinternational.com).
FACEBOOK:
We have enhanced our FB strategy to make it a channel for communicating and connecting with consumers and business partners. With this, content shall be designed to be engaging and interesting to the followers. As such, content and branding may be subtle and incidental particularly during the initial stages.
The contents will also be released in batches to make sure that we gain traction by coming up with different interesting topics and build a loyal base at the start. The first batch shall start on October 13, 2016 while the second batch shall commence on November 10, 2016.
