SCHOLARSHIPS: The Food security center (FSC) or the University of Hohenheim, Germany, one of five German of excellence centers of the DAAD program “Higher Education Excellence in development cooperation” (“excellence”), offers up to 12 scholarships for applicants from Latin America, Africa and Asia to participate in this activity scholarships include the air ticket from the nearest airport to Bangkok, Thailand and the equivalent of 450 Euros for accommodations, meals and transportation Thailand other costs are at the students expense. As for accommodations, we will reserve rooms (doubled occupancy) at Ku international Dormitory but cost shall be paid be paid by participants.
APPLICATION: Highly motivated M. Sc. or Ph.D. students from developing countries are encouraged to send his/her CV with a letter of intention and 2 letters of recommendation from his/her supervisor and the Deportment Head to Assoc. Prof Dr. WI boon Chongrartanameteekul of kasetsart University (wiboon.c@email.com) sponsored participants are expected to attend all three modules of the summer school.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: June 3, 2016; successful applicant will be notified by Jury 2016 via e-mail and the prospected participant must send an e-mail back to the above address to confirm his/her participation in the summer school together with a scorned passport (only pages with picture) within June 15, 2016 in order that invitation letter can be issued and plane ticket can be ranged.
