The majority of respondents (64.9%) considered the system to be easy to use and to function well (59.5%), as seen in Table 1. However, there was no consensus in terms of the speed and occurrence of the few interruptions. There was a possible correlation between the people who considered the speed to be inadequate and those who expressed the existence of interruptions, although the Pearson’s coefficient obtained was very low (0.397). This shows that the perception of the speed of electronic records does not have a direct relationship with the occurrence of interruptions. It is possible that these
evaluations (speed and interruptions) are the result of differences in the IT infrastructure available in the respective hospitals, a factor that was not studied in this research.
