Customer need is a good or service that the customer expect to have which can divided into 4 types including: direct needs, latent needs, constant need, and special need. (customerneed,2014)
1.Direct need – direct need is the main purpose of buying a product or service which the customer already know. For example, when the customer select Hilton hotel for their holiday they need to think about the price, product, and service that they need to get form the hotel.
2.Latent needs – latent needs is a product’s special option that the customer didn’t expect to get. For example, Hilton hotel make a wine special gift for the customer this thing will make them really impressed in the company.
3.Constant need – constant need is a service or product’s option that the company need to provide for the customers.
4.Special need – special need is a special option, special application, or special offer that provided for the customers. For example, Hilton might provide the customer with a tour package or some special food for the customer, this can make them really impressed with the company.
