Grape pomace extract, commercial grape seed extract, and
standards of phenolic compounds were assayed. The concentrations
of phenolic compounds assayed were defined according to previous
reported studies carried out with extracts and phenolic fractions from
fruits (Puupponen-Pimiä et al., 2005) and in presence of tea phenolics
compounds (Lee et al., 2006). Dilutions of samples at 0, 10, 50 and
100 mg/mL were prepared from sterile stock solution (100 mg/mL).
An additional concentration of grape pomace extract (182.13 mg/mL)
was tested. Sterile disks of high-grade cellulose (12.7 mm diameter)
were used to dose the sample solution
