Specific to Low MA, P200 effects during Buy are intriguing. As the Buy stimulus was identical in all trials, we hesitate to identify these differences as related to perceptual fluency processing per se. Rather, they might reflect a more generalized readiness to respond. Buys were more positive under no promotions and onset later for promotions, which supports an interpretation of a slight delay in the buying decision for promotions. Nevertheless, the absence of juxtaposed effects constrains interpretation of buys versus non-buys between conditions.
