20. Display Decorations’ office is just outside Melbourne city.
Christine bought this property 6 years back.
21. Display Decorations has a small team – Christine (MD), Belinda (sales), Karen
(projects), Karli (showroom) and Gary (Warehouse).
22. When Display Decorations receive their container, it is placed on the floor and they
unload using pallet trucks. Therefore the pallets that we have supplied so far are
only single stack. Since the pallets do not stack on one another, we can increase the
height of the pallet to around 1.8 – 1.9m. This will increase
the capacity in the container and lower their shipping
cost. – Khun Panya To Note
23. For the next order, we should try to pack the same item
in one pallet. If we need to put several items onto one
pallet, we should have clear segregation between the
items. – Khun Panya To Note
24. Introduced Resysta mats to Christine and she is interested to try to distribute in
Melbourne and also use in the produce area in the supermarkets. Will send sample
mats to Christine when it is available. – ACTION
25. Christine is also interested for us to check if it is feasible to make up Produce Crates
in Resysta. Presently the crates are made from wood and the supermarkets are not
able to wash or hose down the products. The crates will have to with a solid base
and design similar to the planter box. Concern will be that structurally it may not be
that strong.
26. Mini Chalk Art – Christine is buying the Mini Chalk Art display system from POSM
and she is aware that we are making the key elements for POSM. However told
Christine that we will not be able to sell these parts to Display Decorations as our
arrangement with POSM is that we are only allowed to sell these parts outside of
NZ/Australia.
