Secret in the Caribbean. The number of visitors is increasing consistently (Table IV) In
2007 Curac ¸ao hotels had an occupancy rate of 83.44 per cent[22]. Curac ¸ao does not offer
only sand, sun and sea, but also history, art and culture. This attracts the creative
class. Currently Renaissance and Hyatt are building five star hotels. This will add to
the attractiveness of the product and further increase the number of visitors[23].
