In the late 1800s, amusement parks began to grow popular in America. They were usually built at the end of trolley line and were simple as they had picnic areas, dance halls, restaurants games and a few amusement rides. The amusement parks entered its golden era with the 1893 World's Colombian Exposition in Chicago. There the Ferris wheel and the amusement midway to the world. By 1919 there were over 1500 amusement parks in the United States with the help of a man named Paul Boynton but sadly this golden era did not last
