Peliliu is part of the island nation of Palau which is located in the Pacific Ocean, east of the Philippines. Its main attractions are its rich marine life, especially spinner dolphins. You can go on a tour, and might even catch these friendly mammals racing through the water, spinning up in the air, and jumping in unison. Another must-see in Peleliu are the Rock Islands between Koror and Peleliu, which are best seen while you are on a tour or kayaking. Peleliu is also home to several kinds of stingless jellyfish. You can see them up close when you go snorkeling in Jellyfish Lake. While on the island, you can also visit historical sites and see US and Japanese tankers, memorials of fallen soldiers during World War II.
