(45.45%) out of 11 E. coli O157 isolates from ground beef,
ground chicken, and raw beef while one E. coli O157 isolate
recovered from beef burgers had stx1. Further, 3 out of 11
(27.27%) E. coli O157 isolates from raw beef, raw chicken,
and raw mutton had stx1, stx2 and eae while two isolates from
beef burgers and ground beef possessed hlyA gene.
