3.hazards identification
For ethylene glycol:
Vapour pressure @ 20 c 0.008 kpa (0.06 mmhg)
Vapour pressure @ 93 c 1.5 kpa (11 mmhg)
Miscible with water and alcohol.
4. first- aid measures
Skin: wash contaminated skin with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash use. If irritation occurs medical advice.
Eye: immediately irrigate with copious quantities of water for at least 15 minutes. Eyelids to be held open. Remove clothing if contaminated and wash contaminated skin. Seek immediate medical assistance.
Inhalation: remove victim from exposure - avoid becoming a casualty. Remove contaminated clothing and loosen remaining clothing . allow patient to assume most comfortable position and keep warm. Keep at rest until fully recovered. Seek medical advice if effects persist.
Ingestion: give plenty of water to drink and induce vomiting. Use fingers in the throat. Seek immediate medical assistance.
