Ordered seven or eight pick ups through Larry's Limo when my company was in Miami for an incentive trip.
The pick up from FLL for 34 people was flawless--- the shuttle was on time, and the driver was fantastic--- the group raved about him. The driver picking up 4 people in an SUV from FLL was also fantastic. The only issue was that these payments were supposed to be Do Not Collect, since I put a card down, but for some reason, they were both charged--- I'm kind of confused about that, since the other shuttles were coded correctly.
The company DOES need to work a bit on their language and customer service though--- saying that the driver will be in the area and "around the corner" shouldn't really be used if they're over 20 blocks away and take 15 minutes to get somewhere. The company should also state up front how much lead time is needed for a pick up when they require you to rent a coach for 5 hours minimum. I also had to ask for the driver's contact information for the pick up each time--- I feel as if that is something the company should proactively arrange ahead of time, instead of me having to specifically request for it. So there's some organization issues there, which the operator I talked to afterwards to complain about didn't want to own up to.
The drivers are varied--- we had John on Saturday, who picked us up from the hotel in the morning and took us to Sea Isle Marina for a cruise and picked us up 5 hours hours--- he was friendly, had a smile on his face and a sense of humor, accommodating and just AWESOME. Friday night, we had Tony, who was nice at first when he picked us up from the hotel to go to dinner, but then seemed annoyed when he picked us up from dinner, and didn't seem to want to take the group out afterwards, even though we told him we had contracted the coach for 5 hours, since that the minimum. He gave attitude to one of the girls who asked him to hang around the hotel so they could wait out the rain, and said he would just go home if we're done--- but we still had another 2 hours contracted on the coach. Was this not communicated to him?
The driver to FLL on Sunday was courteous and friendly as well-- I want to say his name was Frank, but I can't remember.
